King and Queen, round three
The King and Queen stakes contestants will face another cut on Wednesday as the third round will take place at Iowa Greyhound Park.
Superior Bonnie from Superior Kennel is the only undefeated participant. She will be in race 12.
KB’s Big Iron from the Copper Kettle Kennel and Co-Leader is in the 6th box. He has to continue his strong break.
KW Carlo Gambino of Jackson Greyhounds, who is in third place, is a late starter. It is in the box of 8.
This one is packed with dogs at the top of the table. All of them have a good starting speed.
JW Bermuda from Jackson Greyhounds is in the box of 3, RF Juanita, from Superior Kennel, is in the box of 6 and BGR Wide Open, Boeckenstedt Kennel, is in the box of 8.
Closer JD Tonic, from Stidham & Brindle Kennel, is in the 5 box.
Jackson Greyhounds co-leader JW Montego is in the first box. His strong onslaught should put him in a good position.
Look out for Killer Lego from the Superior Kennel, which closes strongly out of the box of 8.
Superior Bonnie has to continue her strong break from the 6-box. It is surrounded by massive breakers.
Jackson Greyhounds’ JW Jamaica closes strong. It is in the 3rd box.
The first four will advance to the final on July 4th.

A pair of greyhounds watched their winning streaks come to an end.
Rasta from the Copper Kettle Kennel has won four of the last five on the Dubuque Course. However, Superior Kennel’s Superior Tuvia held the challenge on Saturday night for her third win of the season.
On Sunday, Jax Blow Pop from the T&T Kennel had won 3/16 eight times in a row. But Xtrem Hess Racing’s Xtrem Chicken was poised to take their second win of the season by nearly six lengths.

Due to track problems in Laurel Park, the races will continue in Pimlico.
